@shrapnel i'm copying your post about grouse, just making this one a little more general for all/any upland game so if anyone has any upland pics they want to share we'd love to see em! i'm hoping to add another pic or two. planning on getting out this weekend for after some grouse, i've found a spot i frequently see them a short walk from camp.
a buddy and i have been taking our fathers on a pheasant shoot for the past few years. they both used to upland hunt with their fathers back in the day and this has been a special event we all look forward to. ya i know its a canned hunt but there aren't many wild pheasants left in our neck of PA and its an easier walk on old knees. this past year we expanded our little group to include one of our buddies and a family friend. both are newbies to upland hunting and we're more than happy to get more folks excited about upland hunting. guides were great, dogs were better, and we all came away with great/cherished memories.
hope all you're adventures (upland, big game, fishing, camping, whatever) are just as good as this one. happy adventures.
