Unit 66, 67 or 55 for young buck

Having always hunted elk in Central and the NW part of the state, my wife now has decided for 2024 she's getting to old at 69 to wait any longer for a young buck. She has 14 points. Is there anyone out there that could share some general information on any of theses units and recommended rifle season. We will plan to stay in Gunnison and use 4x4 truck. Thank you!! What about unit 1? She has just enough points and its the NW most unit.

Yes, the point creep is a factor, that would be a great unit for a trophy, but it's very isolated and my wife just wants a chance for a young buck. If we were 20 years younger, we'd go for that unit! Thank you!!

Out of those units, sixty six second is where I’d apply her. Third season will be out of reach for those three units. Won’t get too specific on an open forum. If you want, send me a PM with any questions.
