I’ve missed more spring gobblers than bugling elk, and still, one of the funnest seasons a sportsman could enjoy. Looking forward to finding more Montana Merriams!

My first Wyoming Turkey 2018. What a fun great hunt. Elk were all over and I was hunting turkeys. With snow on the ground it felt like I should have been elk hunting. Was able to get this one into range and able to harvest him. Glad we had a rifle, we saw fresh grizz tracks and our heads were on a swivel. Never did see him but kept us on our toes!

What is that rifle chambered in, and where do you aim? Thinking about trying the .17hmr this year instead of the shotgun.

Too many over the years so here's last spring's. My only out of state successful turkey hunt. Two Kansas birds foolishly lined up perfectly & stuck their necks out & gobbled at our decoys allowing me to take both with a single shot. I've only hunted where I could take a single tom so I couldn't pass up the opportunity. My friend dropped the lone tom bringing up the rear moments later.
