Truck Fuel MPG

2018 3.5 ecoboost F150 super crew > 16 to 18 mpg 3.55 gears 2.5 lift with 34in BFG AT 10ply. The truck is like a rocketship

The computer on my 2017 tundra says 14, probably reset 1+ yr ago. Not many highway miles, normally short trips around town or gravel/national forest roads that start close to town. It does have the 38 gallon tank though so I don't have the gas tank issue that many tundra owners complain about.

2018 Chevy Colorado Z71 3.6L V6, 60k miles, a lot of highway TN-TX-CO-WY, mountain, snow, and 4X4... averages 17 city, 23 hwy. Towing max load with hills 9mpg Removed front valence.

2021 Chevy TrailBoss 1500 Z71 6.4L, V8, 1000 miles. 75 mph mountain highway 23 mpg, city 17. Averages 17.7mpg
Duratrac tires, factory 2" lift, no front valence. Have not towed yet, assuming sub 10 mpg. None of that special electronic crap on engine to detune. Straight V8. Only special "mode" is OFFROAD.

2003 duramax. With oversized bfg. Mileage thingy says 17-21 on the interstate and 15 in town. Best truck I ever owned.

Dudes, reading this thread makes me think we’ve got a whole lot of disabled hunters who need some kind of monster truck to creep into the woods. Can you imagine it, the RMEF Eddie Bauer Geocrusher F450 DuraHemi now with ADA-compliant handles and ramps!

We need a new thread where we brag about how bad our gas mileage is. Then we'll know who's fun to ride with.

Looks like a great deal and the worst mpg. Ain’t nobody going to have a heavier mobile fuel refinery out there!

I’ve driven several different years of chevys and fords over the last 14 years. (Half tons) All have been the same. 13-14 into a head wind, 17-18 with a tail wind, 15-16 when calm. Lucky to break 8 when towing. I don’t think 1 MPG is going to break a guy on a hunting trip or several

2010 chevy 1500 regular cab 3in leveling kit 33" tires 5.3 6spd trans. I average about 15 with a mix of city and highway driving. I was averaging about 20 before the level and 10ply 33" tires.

I'm running a stock 2009 GMC Duramax, no add on junk and we are getting 22-26 mpg if we keep it under 75. Hook up the flatbed and load the quads and camping gear and we drop down to 16 to 18 mpg
