Will be there this weekend for a wedding and was wondering if anyone wanted to PM some general info. I want to try my hand at catching some trout with a spinning rod.

Even better, please let me know all your honey holes.

Never known that area or the black hills to have much water in general. Years ago they had to install a handful of guzzlers for the wildlife.

This shop puts out a weekly fishing report. I haven’t been out due to kid’s baseball games but have heard fish are biting well in all Black Hills lakes and streams. Good luck!

1-2 splitshot with a small hook and a chunk of nightcrawler drifted through good looking holes of any stream I’ve fished where live bait is allowed is pretty much magic for trout. I won’t be labeled a purist for that statement. Lol

The panther with gold blades! If you cross the wy line i know a cool area to camp fish on a little lake that has some fish not far from state line. Imagine its crowded this time year but cool place if you want to explore. Have fun
