I've been seeing adds on Instagram for a company I haven't heard of before. Company name Tricer. They sell tripods and heads. Now generally I'll brush off adds on social media but I wanted to see if anyone has seen or used any of thier gear. For the price it seams reasonable and the weight great. If it actually performs.

My current tripod head has play in it's baseplate so when I take my hand off the lever it'll drop a bit, drives me nuts.

Are they're any other tripod heads that fit the bill as stable, smooth, and lightweight for around 150 or so?

Tricer makes some amazing tripods and heads. If you want super lightweight, then the smaller Tricer head is fantastic. I personally use a Sirui VA-5X head. it's not an ultralight head but is extremely fluid and stays put when you lock it in.

The owner ain’t afraid to give out hot takes. Some of the ads are dumb imo
