Travelling to North Dakota from CA

Headed to North Dakota for Pheasants with my Dad, two English pointers, uncle and another of their 70 year old buddies Oct 6,7.8.

We've talked about overnighting in Winnemucca since we are getting a late start, and either Bozeman or Billings on the second night.

I stayed in Billings last year. Recommendations on Bozeman area lodging and meals? How about a good place to let the dogs stretch their legs?

i have seen some okay numbers this year. I know the Game and Fish said numbers are slightly down but pretty similar from last year. Best of luck when you head this way!!
