I've done it both ways... Those are tanned wall hangers there, that I killed on spring spot & stalk hunts in prior years.

Thanks. Trying to figure out a better way to display, without doing a full rug. I like the way those hang.

Good check today. Had a bunch or just the same few foxes in my bait. Had lots of tracks going right through my coyote snares so must have been foxes but tracks had been snowed in. The odd time they must have stuck their head up or the snares were snowed in a bit and snagged a couple. One good coyote and one might be garbage need to thaw him out and see.

I picked up another 45 acres today to trap. The lady says she’s overrun and wants everything gone. I bought 10 dog proofs and stakes. I’ll get them out tomorrow and set a few bobcat and coyote sets.

The fun part is this 45 acres doesn’t get hunted and I’m pretty sure I’m also getting it for turkey and deer!

Walked the new property today and set up some traps.

I also shot two armadillos so the land owner is very happy.

Also got this haul from the other farms.
I think these little muskrats are bringing in more than raccoons are right now.

I spent all day today in continuing ed classes that I had zero interest in with people I had nothing in common with. The thought of checking some otter sets I put out a couple of days ago helped me get through it. I was rewarded with a big male this evening. I never get sick of walking up to a big otter.

Alright - ive found some fresh coyote tracks on my place. Dont have a lot of space to trap - but i am tired of these things killing/harassing my chickens.

Can someone point me in a good direction for a simple/easy trap? I'll skin them and consider feeding them to the chickens for the irony and vengence so not much will be wasted.

I got into trapping right before this trap came out. I kinda believe it revolutionized coyote trapping. Hard to beat, no adjustments or modifications needed. Set it up with a great staking system and you’re golden.

Been beating up the nest raiding racoons lately.
Will head out to check traps shortly.

With price of fur down and nobody running hounds anymore racoons are thick around here.

The turkeys thank you! We have noticed significant increase in turkey population on our farm since we started trapping a couple years ago.

Coyote face with huskie body. Never seen anything like that before. Not sure what I would do if I had that in my trap.

He acted full coyote. I wish I could post videos because I took one of the walk up.

This is blowing my mind too.

I called one of the neighbors and he had trail cam pics of it. I guess they tried killing it this year a few times during rifle deer and missed.
