I thought this was a cool juxtaposition of a wolf and a coyote from my trail cam, here in western Montana. They were taken just a few nights apart and the wolf and the coyote are nearly in the identical position. (You can see by the scrap of deer spine at their feet and the fir trees behind them. This really shows the distinction between wolf and coyote. The wolf has round ears (better for subzero cold), broad muzzle (built for moose, not mice), holds its tail more upright and is much bigger than the coyote.
