I wish to the dickens I could get the chance at some mallards; all I see are Woodie swamp rockets, but I'm gonna give them Hell Friday and Saturday.

Is that a two person limit? That brings back memories of growing up down in Indiana in the 50s and mallard drakes was about all we shot. That was before the steel shot, points on certain birds and sex, etc., started. Very nice picture of some pretty birds!!! PS: I hope you're shooting them before you net them, LOL!!!

Oh, I love hunting them. They're the only bird I've ever seen which is smarter and slicker than a turkey. Problem is they are limited to two a day, and rarely see anything else to fill out my aggregate limit.

Thats fun chit right there... Dang mallards are hard to come by down here unless you can hunt the drainage ditches in town! Did knock a few chit ducks down the other day though, and that was still fun.
You mean that is not possible? I was thinking about bringing the shotgun next time....maybe just a slingshot.

Leases? Man you guys down there pay WAAAAAAAAY too much to shoot those ducks. I cant speak for Nemont but my guess is that he's not paying to shoot those birds. Sometime this week when I get a chance ill put up some pics from ND and ALL were taken either on public land or unposted private land.

I got a bud with a lease in SE LA, I am in a lease in SE MO and another inear Stuttgart......if you want to hunt down here.....for any thing with wings or four legs, you are in a lease....or you can go have a shootout on public land.....or in MO , show up two hours before shooting time and try to draw a position...
