Todays the big day ! Surgery ....

Well, I’m out. We had a little delay. My heart was experiencing PVC. All in all everything went great.
I was really impressed with the surgery center. Now six months of rehab. Thanks everybody.
Great to hear. Best with rehab/recovery.

Going in for a colonoscopy around the end of next month. It will be a VA job so you know @elkduds will approve. Can't wait to share the video!
The indignity of you procedure does not diminish our gratitude for your service and sacrifice. I'm retired from VA, still have some vets on my teletherapy caseload, still do all I can for veterans. My clinical recommendation to you is to drink the Kool Aid, as prescribed.

I have PTSD from the LAST time I drank the solution/kool aid. Worse than that, my wife has never looked at me the same way.

Make sure to do the PT no matter how much it hurts. Many times the reason people say things did not work was because they did not do the PT because it hurt.

The volume and nastiness of the prep ingest is indescribable but I urge anyone to be diligent. And do not trust the cologuard chitbox...get the colon scoped.

Best wishes and great success on your healing process. Do as they say and don't try and do too much ever. Take it slow. You say 6 months to heal, it's more like a full year until your shoulder will be recovered to where it is the best that it will be. Do not take any falls. Falls are bad for shoulders really bad. I just had my 9th, yes 9th and my last shoulder surgery! Those were on two shoulders. 4 on my left and 5 on my right. Previous doctor really screwed things up. Too long to tell the story.

As many have said the ice cooling machines are fantastic and keep up on the pain pills. Don't get behind on the meds.
