Time for new tires - best ply and load rating?

I use 10 ply Goodyear Wrangler tires on my suburbans and I'm very satisfied with their performance.

Let me add in this for you....I just replaced my tires on my FJ Cruiser and it's night and day. The FJ is known for no sound proofing and loud cabin. Well I had Nitto tires on it before and it was loud in the cabin and you could hardly have a conversation....Well I now have Falken Rocky Mountain ATS II's which are a 10 ply and it's a great ride and super quiet.

I put Nitto Trail Grappler's on my Ford F-150 and absolutely love 'em. Noise has been fine to me even though they have a very aggressive tread. Plus they just look awesome.

I just put some Hankook Dynapro AT/M's on my Chevy 2500. Quieter than my last set of 6 ply, more aggressive, and the price was excellent. Full set for 760 bucks and a $40 rebate. been very happy with the tires so far off road and on highway.
