Two weeks ago we said bye to our beloved mutt dog Willow from Willow Creek. She lived seventeen wonderful years. We r down to one ausie and it is time for me to get a lab again. Do any of you have any recommendations of good breeder. I'm looking for the more slender fast American lab. Pointing labs NEED Not Apply.
Thanks in advance

You want a pointer get a short hair, Draught, English; something along those lines. You want a lab. Get a lab. They are outstanding just the way they are.

Thank you but I said pointers need not apply. I hunt mostly thick brush pheasants and waterfowl. I do enjoy hunting with pointers that my friends have though

The clarity of my writing is not the best. I was acknowledging your comment pointing labs need not apply:)

Couldn't agree more. Trying to breed point into labs causes breeders to ignore the favorable traits that make labs good. Leave them alone. BUT, I can't help buy point you to a litter of GSP's out of my special male...

Just in case you change your mind! I'm a trainer too and work with a lot of labs. This line of Shorthairs stands up to them in the water.
