Similar here - my .308 Tikka is spot-on, yet I still bought a Bergara Highlander in 280AI. An unnecessary but hopefully fun purchase.View attachment 126438
Every time I shoot my T3X in .308 I go away wondering why I mess with anything else.
Just curious to you guys with the Tikkas, are you getting this performance from the factory (stock, bedding)? I love my 700s and can get good grouping but they normally require a little work. Apologies to the op, don’t want to hijack anything!

I have two Tikka's, a 7mm-08 and 270 wsm. Both shot great out of the box and only got better after being broke in.Just curious to you guys with the Tikkas, are you getting this performance from the factory (stock, bedding)? Stainless steel in a B&C stock looks great (but I agree the factory stock is a little off for my taste)The looks is what keeps me from buying a Tikka.
How much difference in weight is there between b&c stock to the factory stockI have three Tikka t3x in B&C stocks and devcon bedded. My son-in-law has two tikkas in factory stocks no tweaking. All 5 shoot sub MOA but mine shoot a little tighter groups.
Good question. I would guess 1 lb, but that is just a guess - I am not an ultralight rifle guy so didn’t bother to weigh either stock. When I get back from traveling I will weigh and post. How much difference in weight is there between b&c stock to the factory stock
