Yep, the regular T3X stock. Swapped in the vertical grip, then rustoleum stone texture and OD green with a clear coat over the top.Nice. Was that the black stock that comes on them?
I gave it plenty of time between coats and started with self etching primer. It ended up being an almost full can of the stone, the green, and the clear coat to get good coverage. I think @JLS used a similar combo on his Kimber and when I handled it this fall it looked it was holding up great.I like the granite color stone texture also. That stone texture rattle can paint holds up remarkably well.
165 Sierra TGK, 46 gr Varget, mag length.What’s the load? I have the ultralight (fluted barrel) version of the same gun and chambering. It shoots factory 150 ttsx about MOA (may be the operator).
I’ve been very happy with the scope so far, it was a great recommendation.Nice choice on the scope. I need to paint a stock myself but im waiting until it warms up a bit.
