I got to see her live in 2015 because the gal I was pacing in a 60K trail race was a volunteer usher at the venue and got tickets. My wife at the time poo-pooed the idea and I went alone. You could see she was aging and her range was just a little smaller. But she was the epitome of class on stage. Even when her ear monitor had feedback in it and we couldn't hear anything.

My dad was a classical music officianatto. When he passed I got his cd collection. He had Loretta Lynn's the disc greatest hits in his collection. That struck me, as I think she's amazing.
