Good Morning,
I bought a Zeiss Conquest V4 4-16x44mm, 30mm tube, ZMOA-2 Reticle, probably around a year ago and haven't had time to put it on a rifle yet. I am looking at buying a new rifle for longer shots while hunting whitetail. I just wanted to see if anyone has ever owned one or known anyone one that has ever owned one, and what are your thoughts on the scope for longer range shots (400-650 yards)? All wisdom and info is appreciated, thank you!

I have the Zeiss V-5 model, 3.5x14x44. Made for 30-06 or 300WM.
Christmas tree reticle. Good out to 600.
Taken elk in the 400 yard range, but I can see them sooner. Last years cow was 194.
Loved the glass so much I have Zeiss binos now too.

Very nice! Thanks for the info!!

I have a 6-24x50 V-4 on my 6mm Creedmoor build. It's by far my favorite piece of glass. Definitely the clearest too. I have Trijicon, Leupold, Athlon, Tract and Vortex optics, but the Zeiss is definitely my top choice for that price range. Trijicon is a close 2nd for me.

Love my V4, definitely my favorite scope in my safe. I'd buy another in a hearbeat, but with that said I am tempted to try a VX5 next time just because ha.
