This thread may again reflect my age, but here it goes. From what I can tell Wyoming is about the last to hold their drawing for tags. When I apply for tags I sit in eager anticipation for the first of July like a small school child for his birthday, or better yet Christmans morning. My question is this, does it stay this exciting waiting, hoping and praying for those tags? Then, what do you guys do to pass the time until you find out where you drew, or if you did?
I know once I find out where I am hunting I am there scouting and such, but what about that couple month wait to get there.

The deadline for applications isn't till June 28 here in Washington. Then we've got to wait until at least mid-July to find out where we'll be hunting. It sure does make it difficult to plan any scouting trips. I'm just like you, and I'm almost 40, the day the drawing results come out to me is way better than Christmas ever was!

I'm always excited to see if I drew; it's been that way for ages. I'll call DOW early and see if they'll leak the results for me. As for passing the time, once Spring rolls around, it's time to start working out and getting rid of the winter fat! :D

hell im 20 and look forward to draw results more than most...i check online every day after the deadline to see if the results are up! :D

I'm with WH the day I don't wait in eager anticipation for all the draws to come out,or the sound of a flushing pheasant doesn't scare the shit out of me or any number of things cease to exciting then I hope the big guy just checks me off the planet!! I'm 45 and still loving it!!

My year is planned around the week in October I get to hunt in Colorado. Nothing like it.
