I personally wouldn’t want to live in a country without due process.
Plenty of people are wrongly accused and arrested by twitchy, overzealous cops, if we put them to death the next day, that would be a true tragedy.

I agree and I’m not smart enough to know the correct solution. It’s rare that a reaction solves the problem, something has to address the causes and help prevent it from escalating to that point
All I’m trying to get at is blasting their information and trial on the news constantly doesn’t do anything positive for our country
Before anybody gets too spun up just something to think about, over Independence Day weekend in Chicago there were seven people shot dead and 54 people shot over the weekend. That was as of seven hours ago. I’m sure they will stack up a few more tonight.

We were doing a job acrossed from a private school on the Southside last year. Car opened up fire in front of the school in broad daylight. The laborer that was with me jumped down in the ditch and I swung the machine around. People at the gas station kitty corner and on the other sidewalks barely even batted an eye just looked over then went back to whatever they were doing. Unreal.

Right, freedom of the press is unimportant...we need to be kept in the dark and it will all go away.
I guess the First should be further down the list, or maybe not on the list at all.

I'm stunned by posts like that...pretty tough to solve problems if you don't know they exist.

Private for profit prisons make record profits by filling cells, not letting them sit empty.
It’s the surrounding states fault for not banning them. Or so I’ve been told on the news. Can’t be societal decay and no respect for human life. No way!
I’m not here to argue with you. Just give me a solution, I told you I don’t have all the answers. I just have a hard time with him spending a lifetime in prison at our expense.
I don’t think the government needs to regulate the media, we as a people need to elevate the standards of what’s acceptable just like we should with government officials.

There is no solution beyond building caskets and burying the dead, that's just a fact.
Nobody has the stomach to do what it would take. I'm not in favor of doing away with First Amendment rights because you want to regulate the media to your liking. No different than not wanting to limit magazine capacity, types of firearms we can buy, etc.
As such, the price will continue to be paid by innocent people. No amount of prison's, tougher sentences, death penalty, any of the crap we talk about will change that. We have no desire and no will to fix any of it.
I accepted the facts a long time ago and all we can do is hope its not us, our families, or our friends that have to pay the price for our "freedom".
Just the way it is...and way its going to continue to be. Best to embrace it and move on.
Mass shootings are as American as apple pie, which is as unfortunate as it is tragic.

They have released the name and photograph of suspect, he fits the profile of what you would think.
I don’t know if it’s confirmed, allegedly he released a video, you can still watch on Venmo, about 8 months ago. If it is credible probably should’ve seen this one coming.
