I’m a wildlife safaris specialist tour operator and a hunting enthusiast. I’m based in Phalaborwa, a small South African Town bordering the Kruger National Park, and I’ve been occasionally acting as a hunting broker for some of the local outfitters.
This year I’ve been offered in my area a substantial (for me) amount of game at a very good price:
3 x Giraffe @ US$ 800
10 x Waterbuck @ US 475
15 x Kudu @ 450
20 x Wildebeest @ 345
60 x Warthog @ 70
180 x Impala @ 70
The above trophy fees are already compehensive of my (modest) commission.
Some of the game included is just representative of the species but there are many good trophies, some of them of Rowland Ward quality.
The daily fees are of US $ 700 per week and the accommodation is rustic but adequate. Four stars accommodation is available in the area at an additional cost of US $ 50 per day.
I can dispose of about 25% of the game trough my (mostly Italian) existing clients. I would like to make available the rest to all Forum Members interested in an African Safari at a very affordable price.
In addition I will include the trophy fees of two non trophy impalas and one warthog to the May and July hunts.
Direct scheduled flights from Johannesburg International Airport to Phalaborwa are available three times a day.
As Phalaborwa is an important tourist resort (with one of Africa’s best Golf courses) non hunting family members will found plenty things to do at bargain prices.
The above prices are not representative of the average of my area. They are due to the fact that one hunting farm has been sold and the new owner want all tha game removed before the end of September.

WOW!
Seems like the trophy fee on my Kudu was like 950US .......that sounds really inexpensive and most of the stuff you would likley get on a first trip!
