Tribes do carry more weight, however, when it comes to federal actions that potentially impact wildlife populations where they have hunting rights.

The staffer I talked with today who works for my congresswoman weirdly perked up when I brought this part of the farm bill into the discussion we had. Seemed really interested and made sure to tell me several time that he’d let the congresswoman know my concerns. Never had that happen before...
