The big one

I'm assuming you killed the 190? Can you share any pics?

Nope, I stalked him to 42 yards before he busted me and then four days later he got poached. The pic doesn't really do him justice.

We usually have at least one buck pushing 200 inches on our radar. The one I really wanted could have pushed the Hanson buck, but I only saw him once. This year I have a score to settle with a buck I missed last year. Won't be a monster but should be in the 140 range.

Both pics are of great deer for sure. If I thought I had even a small chance at a buck pushing 200". . . I'm not flinging arrows or lead at 140" deer till the very last day, but thats just me. Good luck!

it's kind of hard to tell which buck you are referring to in the picture. Is it the one on the right? Or the one on the left that is standing under the large branches? :)

i wouldn't be sleeping either.

lmao!!!!!!:d:d

Well, he was harvested last November. Unfortunately, not by me or my buddy. Ended up going 252ish and was the largest whitetail in the country that was officially scored last year. I guess one in Iowa went bigger but wasn't officially entered. What a privilege it was to follow this deer for the past four years. On to the next one.

I saw a few other pictures of that deer. That is an awesome buck. Hopefully it will take a little bit of the pressure off of Adams county down here :D Big bucks like that have a way of ruining a county really quickly.

Believe I have seen pictures of that deer floating around too. Nice deer for sure. I bet it was fun watching him and planning strategies along the way. That's hunting right....Good luck next time!

Driving through your area on Sunday and saw the biggest whitetail I've ever laid eyes on walking through a bean field in the middle of the day... Somewhere outside of Findlay.

I'd be willing to help a brother out... 2 of us hunting would make the drag easier... Lol

World class buck for sure!

I really wish I had pictures of the one I saw in 04. The day I saw him, I didn't have my video camera with me which is also the last time I have scouted deer without one.
