My elk hunting buddy killed a very large black bear that wouldn't stop bothering his horses with a .22 Mag. To be fair, he called FWP 3 times, and they did nothing. He's in the Happy Hunting Grounds, so good luck prosecuting.

Wasn't meaning to sound derogatory at all, and I should've been clearer on that, my bad, the thread title is what I was referring to. If you're comfortable behind your rifle and the cartridge you shoot that's all that matters.
I loved that rifle and love that cartridge.
