Factory seconds...These are loads for a spot we hunt where shots are within 200 yards. They print about 1" at 100 yards. I think I'm going to touch them really wonky ones with a fine file to knock the edge off.

Yep 8.6blk, and it is a riot. Ringing steel at 300 yards with 300 grains is really fun.

At 35 yards, I actually can't believe that the 6.5 had enough power to kill this bruin. Shot the whole way right through that there bar....
Had she been shooting a 30-06 I am sure that the bear would have died at least 1 second quicker.

TMKs are da bomb.
I've killed 3 whitetails now with 130 gr at 2830 MV and 2 with 69 gr at 2780 MV. All fairly moderate ranges. All were trashed inside.
Only thing about the 69 gr. is that they certainly aren't always going to exit. The other side of that is that if the bullet is under the spine and in the front half, they are dead, quick.
Moral of the story, don't buy 1-9 twist .223s.
My 17” 22-250 shoots then 3100. I think id go bigger if shooting the 22 creedmoor. Like the 88 grain eldm to take advantage of the bigger powder capacity. But I’m sure the 77 TMK would be fine too
