Tent Cabin for a "guest room"?

I've been kicking around the idea of building a floor on pier blocks with a framework to put a canvas wall tent over as summer guest quarters.

Does anyone have experience with maintaining something like this over the years? I know some national parks have a number of tent cabins as a part of their lodging offerings.

I'm curious about what size folks like, location of the stove, Frame construction (whether to have partial walls 3-4 ft high).

Here is an example of what I am considering:

Thanks! Seeing some prices helps too. I'd still love to hear peoples feedback that have stayed in them when they aren't "camping" per say....

I would think as long as the beds were comfotable and your guests got a good nights sleep it would be great. I would consider it a fun experience, If I'm invited.

My only concern would be how long they would last exposed to the weather for an extended amount of time.

Years ago my dad and I ran the base camp for a transporter in Alaska. Camp was on a spit on a small lake( full of Northern Pike) . He would fly the hunters out to base camp in a Beaver then use a Super Cub to drop them on their hunting spots. He would radio ahead and tell us how many hunters were coming and we would get their gear ready for him to fly them out. One of our jobs was to build a tent frame for a storage tent. He flew the plywood and lumber out attached to the pontoon struts. The day he flew the wood out was windier than usual. I remember watching him coming and it seemed like he was barely making more forward progress than sideways. His Forest Service permit required him to take down the tent frames at the end of the season. We bolted the corners together and used a double ridge beam bolted together. I can't remember exactly how we put it together but at the end of the season it all came apart easy and stacked up in a flat pile and went up easy the next season. It worked out really well for him with the high winds out there.
