Can anyone help me out on making like a prairie grass base for this. Instructions? or for a semi affordable price build one. I want to kind of mimic the grass he was in and cover up the bolts and maybe the back of the mount

Don't think that I would want to pay those prices for a single stem of grass!

Have never done it, but how about Elmers Glue brushed on the base, sprinkle dirt from the area, some dead grass from the area, maybe a bug or two(dead of course) and drill small holes and insert the grass stems. I would definitely try a sample board first, see how it works out. Maybe a bit of contour, also, get creative. Toss the spent casing in the grass for kicks. Duh, I was thinking a bit sparser grass, should have looked at the picture closer rather than the happy hunter and buck:)

Yeah I was really just trying to decide how to get the grass to stick and I will do a trial first. Was thinking of plugging grass into Styrofoam and using Elmer's like you said and sand just couldn't find any real YouTube videos which is highly unusual 😂

Stryofoam is a good idea and you could contour it if it was thick enough. Just make a Youtube flick as you do it and then become an overnight sensation:)

What about drilling super small holes in the top of the barrel and pushing the grass stems down? You could pretty easily adjust height. You could always add a dab of super glue to fix them in place when you get the height right.
