taurus expedition... anyone with experience with this gun?

I just won one of these in 308? Most likely going to keep it NIB and stick it in safe til I or someone I know has a use for it. Anyone with first hand experience of them? Are they decent?

I don’t have any experience with them, but I also don’t think that I have the willpower to get a new gun and not shoot it. Try it out and let us know how it works. You don’t have anything in it, and it’s not a collectors piece, so it won’t hurt anything

I hear ya… but with no glass laying around it’s easier said than done. Also it’s got a threaded short barrel so if I was to really want to use it I’d want a suppressor too. I will most likely hold onto it for a bit til I find someone who wants to buy it or I find a need for it.

What id love to do, now that I’m thinking about it, is sell it and try to get a friend to part with an old lever action that’s been sitting in the safe over there forever. I don’t need a new plastic rifle but a cool older one… I always got room for that!
