Tarnished bullets

Was reloading tonight and opened up a box of nosler accubonds. .277 140gr. About 1/3 of them are tarnished. Some just a little and others quite a bit. Any thoughts or concerns? They are a few years old but it was a new sealed box. The ones on each end of the pic are normal.

If it is just a color change (you can't feel any corrosion), they should be fine. I would use the worst ones for practice.

I've had a few come out of the box like that. Never noticed any accuracy issues with them, just not as pretty.

Tumble them

Like others have said, if it's just a color change, shoot them, unless it bothers you, tumble them first, then shoot them.

I bought some 7mm bullets as a lot recently.
Included in it is 2 boxes of Hornady 162gr National Match.
Old enough that some of the bullets are actually green.

I may use them in my 284 Win at a 400 yard "deer" match i like to shoot.

Those dont look bad. They would not shoot any different.
But a go in a tumbler with corn cob would make them shine better than new.

Nothing to worry about, if you dont like it polish them or tumble them
