We all have had tag soup at some point. It’s a decent diet plan if you’re trying to cut calories, but it can get kinda stale after eating the same thing all year. So share up your alternative ways to fix tags, maybe spice it up a bit and break the monotony. I’ll start:

Tag soup, the classic
Cream of tag soup, for a heartier option

Tag drop soup, for the Chinese buffet
Tag rolls- deep fried, rolled up tags

Tag sandwich- just three tags stacked together
Tag salad vinaigrette- shredded fresh tags with tears for dressing
Smoked tags- for tags that fell in the fire
Tag popcorn- the paper tags that accidentally went through the washer/dryer.

Braised “shank” of tags- involves a tent and knife for preparation. Goat tag preferred.

Yes, it has been a long off-season. Why do you ask?

Tag sandwich cracked me up. Sucks having multiple tags left after the season.

I made tag schnitzel with my spring turkey tag. Dredge in egg, coat in flour, dredge again, coat in bread crumbs, then fry in oil until golden brown.

Nice part is it didn’t take a lot of oil, since it’s such a thin cut and all.
