Swan mount (before and after)

Well since I'm a foodie and live to eat I'll take that off my list but man that had to be a fun hunt. Congrats again dude, beautiful bird.

I may have saw yall out there. I didn't draw last year, but I'll be back out there again this year looking for another if I draw. Really hoping A Trumpeter flies my way.

Let Tim know he did a great job.

I'm sure I was everybody's favorite guy the day I went. It was like WWIII as I paddled out and kicked all the birds into the sky. The guys hunting the dikes had lots of shots thanks to me. My attention deficit disorder is both my biggest strength and weakness when hunting. I have a hard time staying still for more than an hour unless I'm actively waiting on visible game. But that day my reward was sweet as the swans returned and I was in prime position to have the one of my choice. I'll probably put in again in a year or two with my brother. He's green with envy over my mount so I'm sure he'll want one too.

I gotta say you are braver than me. The number of guys that skybust, shoot birds on the water, and generally are idiots at Freezeout is very high. But, so are the birds. I try to make a few trips there, always looking for a snow. Still looking...
