Got out on the sailboat last week. Probably the last sunny day for a while!

Paint roller extension pole, shelf bracket, electrical tape and a wire hanger will do wonders.

That’s basically what I was using, it just wasn’t long enough. It’s okay though. This good for me. Because perfection is something that only lives in our imaginations, right?

Happy Birthday, Ridgeline. Dad bought in new in '06, it took us on several Kansas bird hunts. I bought it from him in 2015. Today it rolled 100K, I wish it could tell all its stories.

In the timber. It’s the other way of the picture. All oak, I cut and split it with a maul then usually have a 20-40 yard carry to the truck. Junk trees like piss elm and mulberry grow on the edges. Red elm got wiped out years ago but it’s the most desirable.

Edit: I’m pretty fortunate to live in a rough enough area to still have deep draws and timber, and by fortunate I mean can’t make money but can hunt deer and cut firewood.
