Stay away from Coors for a while

18gpm still leaking. The dilution in the creek, will likely make it nearly impossible to detect at level and rate if I was guessing. Going off memory I'd guess Clear Creek runs about 300-500cfs or 150-200,000gpm. There is so much historical mining in that area that this leak is a non issue. Removal of metals from mine water is the easiest water treatment there is. Coors treats water, obviously.

If your super concerned about clean water you won't want to know what's coming out of your in the local municipal water treatment discharge. Truly scary shit, full of forever chemicals, dissolved organics and chemicals from medicines. So many things that are not regulated and slip right through the CWA requirements.

they actually pump their water out of the ground over there. part of their way of technically being able to label it "mountain spring water"

technically, yes, it's water from clear creek. but it's alluvial water, much of which they infiltrate themselves, and it's all treated anyway.

blackhawk and it's many casinos and resorts are upstream. think about all the nightlife vomit, flushed condoms, and crab leg buffet induced bowel movements that come out of the wastewater treatment plant as one of the upstream first uses before it get's down to coors.

probably where that rocky mountain flavor comes from.

A lot of bad things end up in Clear Creek from being right next to I-70 as well. The mineral spill would be the least of my worries.

I was born in Golden. Lived there till 2nd grade. Pa loved Coors beer. I believe it tastes like crap now , compared to many years ago. Maybe my taste buds are all jacked up, but the stuff just does not do it for me anymore!

If one was so inclined, they could suck down a bottle of bud lite...

I'll stick with pops yellow jacket banquet beer.

Well yeah, there goes Colorado again. Another one of these totally avoidable catastrophes and likely another solution through dilution. Another thing, you guys know the difference between Coors, Rainer, Lone Star, Keystone, Narragansett, Schlitz, Hamm’s, Yuengling, Pabst and any other regional shitbeer I’ve left off the list? Not a goddamn thing, they’re all best enjoyed ice cold.

College days, yes.. Now?

There is an absolute certain difference between several of the beers you mentioned.

Line those bad boys up and cleanse the palette with a slug of - heck, white lightning and maybe that list begins to taste the same... 🤣

My days were (still are) Pbers, However, to impress the ladies - it was Coors Banquet. A gal I dated drank Naty Light. This is why I KNOW there is a difference in taste. :ROFLMAO:
