I'm definitely opposed to transfer to the State Land Board.

Should be mandatory viewing for all HTers. If we are to keep public lands in public hands, we need to "fight like hell."

Watched this morning; very enlightening. It's nice when someone else does the research for you, especially when they're trustworthy! There are a number of folks that haven't heard anything about this, and this series of Fresh Tracks' discussions is a good place to get a feel for what is going on. So many states have boxed themselves in a corner, and it appears they're searching for a solution to their funding problems. Scary to think acquiring our federal lands is being looked at as a solution. History suggests they'll be sold, and that doesn't bode well for any outdoor recreationists
