This buck just showed up this evening in our pasture. Should be able to get some good close pics in the next few days. He was doing some good lip-curl poses. Seems a little early but he's sure enough rutting.

nice pics. looks like its about to bust loose there. I saw 2 nice bucks last night that were chasing does here, the first I've seen so far. . . .still 2 weeks left before gun season. . .I'm guessing it will heat up in the next few days. I took Monday and Tuesday off just in case it gets going good this weekend. Good luck to all.

Go for it. It's your time and money to waste. A couple rutting bucks on private land means nothing. Join the crowd and be sure to post up your results.

Any of you care to throw out some numbers?

I'd guess 26" outside spread. Maybe 170" total?

He's a 170 class buck. I would put him a little wider than 26. His rear forks aren't that deep, but are tall.
