I hadn't done anything outside for a couple weeks and work was driving me crazy yesterday. I had spring fever in the worst kind of way. While I did not find a cure, I definitely found the proper medicine to help me cope. ;) So right after work yesterday I threw my raft in the back of my pick up and headed towards water.

Definitely put a smile on my face.

The sight the greeted me as I worked my way back across the water to my pick up. It was all good medicine and reminded me I need to go for such long stretches without treatment.

Awesome stuff as usual! I need to fish in the worst way right now. Turkey season is over for us, and the creeks are calling my name. Unfortunately, spring rains have muddied up my muskie streams. Hopefully they clear out so I can hit em before too long.

dcopas78, all the creeks are the same way around here. In fact it's muddied up a few ponds and lakes as well. The bass pond I was fishing isn't too affected unless it's a heavy rain so it was on the short list of places to go. I look forward to creek fishing kicking in though. It usually takes off towards the end of June around here. The only downside is the rattle snakes are also out in force and I don't do snakes well.

Nice Troy. Are they on the spawn beds?

Try some weightless Senkos.

JLS, not yet they aren't. I might have to try those Senkos as the pond mossed up quite a bit in the last two weeks and it caused me a lot of problems. I didn't catch nearly as many fish as I did two weeks ago. Thanks for the tip.

Run them weedless. We used 5" Senkos on Saturday and caught a lot of BIG fish. We had two legit 4-5 lb. bucketmouths.
