Spring bear with the kids

I think this hunt is becoming my favorite. Loaded my 2 & 8 yr old up and went out today. Saw moose, elk, deer, bighorn & deer. Only thing we didn't see was a bear. I love suddenly seeing game at 50 yds and my youngest starts yelling "there dad, right there" & the older boy yelling over the top of him "hey, you have to be quiet or were not gunna see anything". I almost laugh out loud. Waiting for the younger one to tell his brother not with you yelling at me were not. We chased a butterfly & gophers & just had a boys day having fun. Can't wait til the next trip out, maybe we'll find a bear. Good hunting all!

Proof positive that an unsuccessful (by record books standards) day hunting with the kids is better than any other kind of day without them. Keep hunting-em-up!
