Yes. The knurled ring is what tightens the ball.

@BradA I believe it is 3/8ths pitch threads but you can use a 1/4 thread adapter inside that.

As Schaaf said you can tighten it using the knurled ring.

Is there anyway you can post a picture of the bottom half of it I’m trying to see if it will work with a outdoorsman adapter and then be used to shoot off of a tripod using the existing mount I have for my bipod from Spartan

It does. Mine is currently attached to an outdoorsmans Adapter and I've shot two animals using the Davros Head with it secured into my Panhead.
