The OP hasn't been seen since 2021. As is usual with this time of year he popped on sucked up the info and left never to be seen again.Hey, I know this is an old thread, but I just drew 35L too and have limited knowledge of the area. Have you still been hunting there recently? Not looking for any secrets, just expectations on deer size. Feel free to PM as well, thank you in advance for any help.
The 35L license they are talking about is good for the Custer National Forest in the northwest corner of the state not Custer State Park.Latitude and longitude of Custer State Park

Custer State Park is a state park and wildlife reserve in the Black Hills of southwestern South Dakota, USA. The park is South Dakota's largest and first state park, named after Lt. Colonel George Armstrong Custer. The area originally started out as sixteen sections, but was later changed into one block of land because of the challenges of the terrain. The park began to grow rapidly in the 1920s and gained new land. During the 1930s the Civilian Conservation Corps built miles of roads, laid out parks and campgrounds, and built three dams that set up a future of water recreation at the park. In 1964 an additional 22,900 acres (93 km2) were added to the park.
He's not the only one.Dakota79 might be missing the point

I know it was some years ago but was just surfing and noticed that the OP had posted the exact same question verbatim on a whole bunch of different websites simultaneously. Yuck. The OP hasn't been seen since 2021. As is usual with this time of year he popped on sucked up the info and left never to be seen again.
Good luck with your hunt.

So far so good. We are a little dry but the horn growth looks promising and the numbers seem to be holding their own. You're not. How's the deer herd this year?
