My son filled his second season buck tag Friday morning. We are both thrilled with it, to say the least. this is his 3rd mule deer.
We worked really, really hard for this buck, and closed the deal on day 7. After watching these bucks for 4 solid days, he finally made a mistake we could capitalize on.
We are new to Meeker, CO and so we are still learning the area and this type of hunting. I learned to hunt CA mule deer in thick timber, so this country is much different. It sure is fun though!
