February weather was kind of sucky here so we headed South. It's always good to watch everyone have fun and have some great tasting fish at the end of the day.

Good luck. We try and got every February. Patch reef fishing is a blast, you never know what you're going to catch. Here's last year's trip.

Was this a charter boat or DIY? Has anyone here done a DIY type of trip using a rental?

A couple times when I didn't have a boat. Not difficult at all, which is the cool part. Find patches, ample chum, sharp filet knife and a $500 yeti so everyone knows you're serious

When I left I think places were getting +/- $1000 for a weekly rental size dependent of course.

Charter boat. I've done some DIY dock fishing, but no way I'm trailer a boat all the way from MD down there.
