Well we did not take enough pictures, but my son and I snuck into a high mountain lake and found some really great brook trout action. We packed our belly boats and waders and flipper in and spent the day up there. Caught over 30 fish, several over 16” and the biggest was 17.5… One even made it home for dinner and it was amazing…

Always fun exploring new areas and new water. There was not a trail to this and there was a lot of blow down. Pics don’t show how miserable it was…16679DAA-7F56-42D0-AD3E-3A91F7B743DF.png1C03EB2B-E0B0-4244-A9E8-F7D5EDF850C2.png749B4616-611B-49B1-A82D-ACA7726757B3.png6CC75DB2-3598-44FC-B53D-AF7B0C8194CF.png9288DDC1-858E-49E9-B463-DDE22219A2A4.pngD0107E40-3AA7-45AC-A872-AD64547F7FDE.png03B53259-95D2-48C4-851D-920AEDE958BA.jpegD27DDF1C-1C40-4B47-8BC7-136B5B0D5480.pngF55904EC-5536-452B-9A64-03258C9A2500.jpeg

Looks like you two had an awesome day together !! I’m sure that day will come up many times in the future when you “remember that day when we…”

Nice to see snow on the ground when it hit 90 today here in VA. I bet that was a fine dinner. Looked rough enough to me and I bet you didn't have company.
