Anyone else think the voting for "All Stars" is a farce?

Either make it the "Fans Favorites" game or make it an All Star game....not a bastardized mix...that, BTW, sucks....year after year.....and WTF does it have to do with home field advantage in Wurld Serious???? How bout something really unique? Best record gets home field!

Even though the All-Star game helped out the team I root for last year with home field advantage during the Series, I think that part's a farce. I'm all for it being at least partly based on fan voting as that's really what it is, an event for the fans.

Even more true this year. The NL manager isn't even a manager anymore, and his decisions help determine homefield advantage for the World Series. I wouldn't care, if it was an exhibition game.

I hope Mccutchen doesn't mess his swing up in the Derby tonight, it's ruined more than one player's season.

The pitching was so bad in the HR derby , that I quit watching it!
What if we reversed the whole All Star selection process? Let the players pick the position starters and let the fans pick the rest?
Best record making it to Wurld Serious shud have Home Field advantage or go to a neutral site!

I agree that the best record of the teams in the World Series should get home field advantage. I am 100% against neutral sites. That kicks the fans/cities of the teams playing in the nuts...
