Bullets for the "Raking Shot"?

On big animals, If my first (behind the shoulder here) shot doesn't stagger them pretty good, I'll put a second one in quick as I can. If they run, I will shoot them at any angle, so I like penetrating bullets. I have used Nosler since 80 and Barnes since 1990, but I am intrigued by the North Forks, the Trophy Tipped, etc. Anyone have luck with these or similar? Give me your experience? Thanks
