I've just returned from 4 nights hunting sika deer on public land in the Kaweka Mountains. Sika are a small deer originally from east Asia, and have been release in the center of the North Island.

the Japs are very aggressive in the rut been a long time since I have been in the Kaweka`s
 
I always love seeing how you guys use the rotary transport :)

Yes, it's a great way to travel. The chopper picture was when my sika head got an early trip out. I called the chopper pilot and asked if he could pick it up if he was passing by :). Wanted to get it in the fridge as early as possible.
