Show me your square body

1977 July 4th Ford F350 4wd regular cab, 351 V8, 4-on-the-floor, low geared to climb a cliff, 10-14 mpg whether loaded, unloaded, accelerated or idled.
Paid $5k for it in 1978. Best buy ever!
I had the shortened version, a '78 Bronco, same color and outfitted the same as yours except I had Posi and dual block heaters. Got thirteen MPG no matter how it was driven, and never got stuck. I got high centered twice, but never stuck.

Yeah what's your definition of stuck if high centered doesn't count.

Stuck is when your tires are in contact with Mother Earth but you can't get traction (Think wet and sticky Bentonite clay so prevalent out West). High centered is when they no longer are in contact with anything, brought about usually by too much throttle or bad decision making.

Matter of opinion, I suppose. If weight is decreased on the wheels because the center of the truck is contacting the ground, ...always called it " high centered".
Also called it being stuck.

Boils down to semantics I guess.

Ok...

Let's see. Stuck. Requiring shoveling or a pull out of the situation. High centered. Requiring shoveling or a pull out of the situation. I don't really see a difference. Carry on.

High centered is always stuck but stuck isn't always high centered.

Every square is a rectangle but not every rectangle is a square, but for vehicles.
