I know Schmalts is going to SHOT. Any of you other Hunt Talkers gonna be there?

I will be running around, doing the normal gig. I think Still Kickin' and Elk Whisperer will be there.

Wanted to go, but the job comes first right now in this economy. My wife, son & myself will be going to the RMEF Elk Camp in Reno in March though for the first time. Hope to see you there if you go. Have fun and take care in Vegas.

Wonder how live radio will compare to edited TV? NRA News on XM and Sirius wants a live interview about this thing called On Your Own hunting. Will try to not make too big of a fool of myself. Starts at 1:40 PM, Pacific.

Saw Randy for a short time today, he is a busy guy. I have been doing a lot of walking and picking up more items to sell to guys like you here for hopefully a better price than most. Predator optics will be a rapidly growing store, and there is a fair chance I will be selling leopold optics in addition to other items. A few other brands are crooked horn, hunten game cams, kenatrek, foxpro, and many more. My hope is to have advertised prices and then even lower prices for hunting forum members.

Not trying to hijack this thread. I was unable to plan for the Shot Show but I'm going to be in Vegas for a veterinary convention in February and it happens that at the same time there will be the "7th Annual Hunter and Outfitter Convention" at Paris. Anyone give me any insight into this show and is it worth making it over to visit during my stay? Thanks in advance.

I was there Wednesday & Randy was covered up by folks at the Sportsman Channel Booth. I had a lot to see in one day, so I proceeded to walk the entire floor...BIG MISTAKE! I didn't stop walking! I swung by too see if BIG FIN was around & he vanished like casper the ghost.

I did meet Les Johnson from Predator Quest & he is truly a nice guy. Jim Shockey was around every dam corner! I really only wanted to talk with Randy & Les, but I was there on business so I didn't have much time to search Randy out again.

Busy show & you can sure tell Tactical Gear is in & has lots of funding by the government!:W:

Seems like Les has lost some sponsors & I saw in the Howa/Escort booth probably why...

A new predator show is coming out pretty soon. It's the same guy who does the Fowl Life, it looks really hyped! He was sitting at a table waiting to sign autographes with his girlfriend or wife.

I don't know the guy, but Les is one of the best coyote hunters there is & it is Howa's loss. Just my opinion...
