Short window for some trail cams

The two cameras I have were christmas gifts. One is a Tasco and I am not sure who makes the other. The tasco will only take pics if the target is less than 6 feet away. The other stops working after 24 hours even though the batteries are still good when I check it. I had them set up on very active wolf piss posts most of the winter and although there were plenty of tracks in front of the cameras...no wolf pics.

Have you put any detailed info on how you build your cameras on past threads? I have a bunch of great spots where I would like to put out cameras, but it is hard to get excited about it when I am using cheat defective cameras.

Yes, I did a couple threads I believe. One for sure. Almost start to finish. Maybe you can find it in the search.

Or go to camtrapper.com. Hours and hours of reading there. Everything you need to build one.

I actually just won a commercial cam at the trail cam photo contest at the sportsman's expo in Kalispell. Had it out at the house here, still like mine better. It's an HCO scoutguard, IR night/color day cam.

Just keep getting dinkers on camera. Somehow I left a memory card up on the hill, it had some other bulls on it. Got to the house to download and all I had was these two.

I thought this was just a great photo.

Dinks

Sometimes the dinks make the best pics. Here is one of my favorites, just a little guy.
