Show was a blast as usual and great folks all around. The money that changed hands was simply unreal this year. Also had a nice chat with @Big Fin. Spent a bit of time talking to CPW's lead ungulate biologist at RMBS's table also. Never knew he was such a sheep nut.

First time to this show - was fun - lots of great folks. Real pro-tip for those on the fence about attending...bring your spouse. One night of my wife seeing millions exchange hands for coveted tags/hunts and I've successfully reset her baseline on what 'expensive' hunting means!

The only challenge I had was constantly keeping an eye out/avoiding BigFin...my wife was insistent on finding him and embarrassing me with 'oh you're the hunter my husband always watches on tv'

Take from my mistakes, make sure to stay at the peppermill casino and hotel and not a cheaper off site place. The conv center is where the expo, seminars and <1 club deal is, but all the banquets/dinners are at the peppermill. Makes it easier to change outfits between the expo and banquets, which are every night. If you get more than one day at the expo with her, you got a helluva catch!

I didn’t go to Sheep Show Convention recently but I am curious. I saw the auction tag sales were extraordinary and out of this world.

Does anyone know the going, ballpark contract prices for Alaska guided dahl sheep hunts, Canadian guided dahl sheep hunts, and Canadian stone sheep hunts?
