Who knows, maybe this dude is delusional enough to think we can get money of those lands from developing them. He said that in his promotion of it. BS will get to brand this one. Shows how looney our legislature is.

IT'd be interesting to see how a state would foot the bill for a big fire year given the current state of budgets if all that land was theirs...

The same rationale that they have used all along to justify their tactic of telling the fed to stay out of state's business while telling the local govt's and the MT citizenry how to do theirs'. The height of hypocrisy and "looneyness"....can't explain stupidity. One only needs to reference about Alan Hale....
