SD draw success!!

Great news, my 19 yo daughter drew a SD any deer tag in western SD. Luckily she is considered a resident because she attends SDSU and lived and worked in the Black Hills all summer. I only bought a point as NR odds were quite low and one tag will be enough to fill anyway. I'm just glad I get to tag along and hopefully help pack one out. We have never hunted mule deer yet but we are excited to get out and learn as we go. I know the populations aren't what they used to be, but she's a tough and determined gal so hopefully we can make some luck! Anybody else draw SD tags?

Good luck, there is a lot of opportunity in that part of the state. Deer numbers are up as well, should be a fun hunt.

I drew my west river any deer, only took 5 years....

West River any-deer will be in the mail soon. Hunted the Hills last year.

Failed to draw a SD Waterfowl permit for the NE corner of the state. I bought PP's on pretty much everything else. Definitely looking forward to West River in a few years

Congrats to those getting tags! I have a handful of points for the Hills and nearly a double handful for West River. One of these years I need to just go!

Eleven years hills deer preference and four for west river no tags no tags for me.Better luck next year gonna be a long November.
